oops forgot to say reasons why. naive means unaware, innocent kind of, someone who doesnt know much about something. since they bring unnecessary items to backpacking, they are naive. for the second one, "I shall" is more of a old-fashioned way of saying "I will" and noone really says "I shall" anymore. moribund means basically gone out of style or slowly dying out.
