absolute value is the numbers distance from 0 so do you see a pattern here. | -4| = 4 |4| = 4 @MyChemicalLow ?

don't just randomly guess. provide your reasoning. first we know that the absolute value is the number's distance from zero. so if we had say |-4| =4 and |4| = 4 so if there's a negative number inside the absolute value sign it's still positive.
