@angelmaxine we can pick any two points on this graph and then plug them into the equation for slope that shows the change in y with respect to x. let's choose (0,-3) and (2,4) \[m = \frac{ y_{2}-y_{1} }{ x_{2}-x_{1} }\] \[\frac{ -3-1 }{ 0-1 } = \frac{ -4 }{ -1 } = 4 \]
