OpenStudy (welshfella):

i can only see 2 lines neither of which is correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops i'll take a better picture @welshfella

OpenStudy (welshfella):

-2/3 is the slope of the line so it goes like this \

OpenStudy (anonymous):

better?? @welshfella

OpenStudy (welshfella):

yes which one do you think it is? thers a big clue in my posts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C, the third one.?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was wrong :( @welshfella

OpenStudy (welshfella):

well its the only one with a negative slope.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

lets convert it to slope/intecept form

OpenStudy (welshfella):

y + 3 \= (-2/3)(x - 4) y + 3 = -2/3 x + 8/3 y = -2/3 x - 1/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It said it was D

OpenStudy (welshfella):

It cant be D nor C as the intercept is not -1/3 something wrong with the question

OpenStudy (welshfella):

D has a positive slope

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the equation has a negative slope of -2/3
