Please help me fix the third problem. I will award medal.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try this: 8x - 2(4x-1)=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not finished completely but am i on the right path. 8x-8x-2=2??

Nnesha (nnesha):

right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sothen x-2=2?

Nnesha (nnesha):

combine like terms 8x-8x isn't equal to x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 8x-2?

Nnesha (nnesha):

hmm 8x -8x = ?? both are like terms so you can combine their coefficients in short both terms are the same with opposite side so ??

Nnesha (nnesha):

like 3 -3 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0-2?

Nnesha (nnesha):

hmm right 8x -8x cancels out left with 0-2 = 2 0-2 is same as -2 so -2 =2

Nnesha (nnesha):

if the x= something you will get `one solution ` if 4=4 both sides are equal then `infinitely many solution ` if 2 = 3 both sides aren't equal then` no solution `

oh ok i wasn't sure, i had thought it would be 0-2 but anyway. Could you help me correct two other problems. I'll post them and you can get credit for each of them. The only reason I ask is because it's taken forever for me to get help thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I get it.

Nnesha (nnesha):

oh well i have few mints post it here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok one sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you very much

Nnesha (nnesha):
