OpenStudy (calculusxy):

I believe that degrees are the really the exponents that the base is raised to. \[\huge \rm \color{green}{3x^{10}}\] The exponent here is \(\large \color{green}{10}\) so I think that the degree will be 10.

Thanks, what about #2 and could you help me with a few more?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

With regular whole numbers: \[\huge \rm \color{orange}{-2x^0}\] i think that that's the answer.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

because \( \rm x^0\) can be thought of as really 1 so \(-2(1) = -2\)

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

i can help with probably one more
