Is this correct: The degree of the polynomial is 1 plus the turning points? And the degree of a line that touches the X axis so many zeros is that same number (7 zeros- degree is 7. ) so... The first question the degrees are 9 & 7. Then you would add those together for the new degree? Answer 9 + 7= 16 -- 16 is the new degree? Second question: 5 zeros so 5+1 Minimum degree is 6 ? Or is that the maximum degree.
