I want to know how Sockets work at TCP / IP layers. various aspects of the Socket Programming from Data communication and Networking perspective. the advantages and disadvantages of Socket Programming, different protocols of Network and Transport Layers anyone can help

First, take a look at the OSI stack to get an idea of how TCP/IP works. Most of the socket programming libraries hide the real nitty gritty of the stack from you, which is great.
