after disturbing the 3 you'll get 12+6y -9 after after combining like terms 6y+3 then you can factor out a 3 to get 3(2y+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can't get more simplified

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay, well thanks so much.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Lily2913 Actually tbh I still don't get it, can you explain step-by-step if you can :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12+3(2y-3) you multiply 2y * 3 and -3*3 so that you get 12 + 6y - 9 then you combine like terms 6y + (12-9) = 6y +3 then you factor out 3 since it is common to both 3(2y+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep! Thxxxx a million

OpenStudy (anonymous):

np

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 30y-45
