(This is in a personal finance class, so I thought it worked here... sorry.) Anyway, I think it is a minor repurchase simply because it is an item that doesn't cost very much, but he needs to keep buying more.

I thought finance had its own oops, but anyways, I agree based on this definition "Minor Repurchase- these are the most routine of all purchases and often the consumer returns to purchase the same product without giving much thought." So since light bulbs cost like a dollar, and you buy them probably once or twice a year, it seems reasonable
