Hello, I am trying to make a program called calculator (its for cit120 intro to c++)... So I have it working not accepting letters except for when you type a number first then a letter. When you type for mentioned combo, it runs through the entire couts or spills over i think its called.

Your if statements are all messed up.  For the most part, you want if not logic.  Plus for the most part they're unneeded.  cin >> double will error if it doesn't get something it can convert to a double, so if it didn't error, you have a double.
