well - do you know how to read a graph? take a very small value of x in the negative direction - that is very close to the origin to the LEFT on the x axis. Then starting at that point look in a vertical direction , either up OR down to find the point where the vertical meets the graph curved line. you can then choose the statement that seems most obviously correct
