OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@Nnesha @peachpi

OpenStudy (jack1):

(4x2 − 15x + 9) ÷ (x − 3) so... not brilliant at these... but can u factorise first? (like reverse FOIL)

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

yes

OpenStudy (jack1):

\(\huge \frac{4x^2 − 15x + 9} {x − 3}\) \(\huge \frac{4x^2 − 15x + 9} {x − 3}\) \(\huge \frac{(4x-3) (x -3)} {x − 3}\) ... can u solve from here?

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

would it be 4x-3?

OpenStudy (jack1):

it would indeed x-3 top and bottom would cancel eachother out, so that's all u would be left with

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):
