i was trying to solve this but my answer is not in the choices :(

here is my solution ..

OpenStudy (tylerd):

alright lets see, we have a trapezoidal pyramid looks like

OpenStudy (tylerd):

im getting a different volume in cubic ft

OpenStudy (tylerd):

(3600+5500+18000)(15/6)

OpenStudy (tylerd):

divide that by (3ft)^3 or 9, and we get that answer

OpenStudy (tylerd):

er 27

OpenStudy (tylerd):

i just used the equation on here http://www.had2know.com/academics/rectangular-trapezoid-trough-volume.html

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get the mid-section ? @TylerD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i get it
