OpenStudy (jadedry):

When two lines cross, the resulting angle is equal on each side. So a = 35 degrees. In a right-angled triangle, the sum of all angles = 180 180 - 90 = 90 = The sum of the two remaining angles. 90 - 35 = 55 so b = 55 degrees the angle of a straight line is 180 degrees. Therefore c+70 = 180 so c = 110 degrees
