Given distance s = 2t + 1 at time 3. Then what is the velocity at time 3?

If you have an equation that tells you the position at any time "t".... what is it about that equation that tells you the velocity? Think about what the graph of s(t) would look like... and what about that graph tells you velocity? There's something there in the picture of the equation.
