Which line is a graph of the equation: -2x+5y=10 A) Line a B) line b C) line c D) line d plz help and explain you answer :)

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

Can I see pictures of the lines?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh um let me try

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get y alone

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that you set up your new equation to look like the slope/intercept equation which is y=mx+b where m = slope and b = y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here is the link to the graph @malcolmmcswain

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

This is what I do. For line a, when x is one, y is what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@malcolmmcswain umm idk

OpenStudy (malcolmmcswain):

I can't see the image. Can you try attaching the file?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It'll be a lot easier to set it up according to the slope/intercept form since then all you need to look at is what value the y-intercept will be and if the slope is positive or negative |dw:1445284336094:dw|
