OpenStudy (triciaal):

I don't know those stories. Narrative perspective means who is writing/telling the story give an example Quote from the story, any sentence to support who is telling the story.

OpenStudy (narissa):

so at the beginning of the story he says young folks dont remember the depression but i do can i use that?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

example most fairy tales someone else is telling the story. If you were talking about your summer vacation or plans for the holidays then an example I went shopping and ate at the restaurant

OpenStudy (triciaal):

so the narrator is the author for that one I remember ...

OpenStudy (narissa):

ok can u help?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

point of view what was the story about and what did the author express about it?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

I don't know the stories. I don't know how the writer feels about any issues in the story.

OpenStudy (narissa):

the depression no work and about white folks

OpenStudy (triciaal):

for example if you were writing about summer vacations to support " the time off from school is too long" you would write that "i have been on vacation so long that on returning to school I had forgotten how to do ... or my multiplication facts etc

OpenStudy (narissa):

im not understanding

OpenStudy (triciaal):

you have to know what the writer expressed about the topics

OpenStudy (triciaal):

example if you think summer was too short you would say "i was just beginning to enjoy going to the pool everyday and it was time to get schools supplies to start the new semester etc "

OpenStudy (triciaal):

sorry can't help more I don't know those stories.

OpenStudy (narissa):

how blacks were treated different than whites etc

OpenStudy (narissa):

how a young black boys had a good job with a white man and then the depression hit and because the boy was black they wouldnt let him get a job again

OpenStudy (triciaal):

what did the author say to express how he felt? what quote do you have to prove the unequal or unjust treatment?

OpenStudy (narissa):

that is the book

OpenStudy (triciaal):

I don't have time to read all these follow my response and you will "see" what you are looking for

OpenStudy (narissa):

oysters son went too but do youknow they discriminated against him!-the government discriminating him because he was black!

OpenStudy (narissa):

so do i put in the first box discrimination then put that quote

OpenStudy (narissa):

or predjidice?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

I was just reading that page 98 discrimination

OpenStudy (narissa):

k thanks so put discrimination and that quote i wrote up there

OpenStudy (triciaal):

after being told tha this son was sent ......"if he could work in a white man's office

OpenStudy (narissa):

so thats what i write?

OpenStudy (narissa):

im confused

OpenStudy (narissa):

@YoungStudier
