OpenStudy (shesolitt):

What type of plot structure allows authors to go into specific detail about key events and reveal more about the characters through their reactions to conflict? Episodic plot structure Parallel plot structure In medias res Flash-forward

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

I will medal and fan !!

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Do you have a guess? Usually, your lessons or teacher should have told you about all of these plot structures and you should have notes on each, which would make this question very simple. If you don't have notes, just look up each plot structure and you will find your answer.

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

I think its flash forward @leahhhmorgannn

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Flash-forward is a plot where the plot will skip ahead to a different place in time from the rest of the novel. This might help you: http://www2.nkfust.edu.tw/~emchen/CLit/study_elements.htm Scroll down to where it starts with Plots :)

Also, http://www.britannica.com/art/in-medias-res-literature

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

im thnking the answer is ... media res @leahhhmorgannn

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Wait a minute... can I ask what this is for? Like what school do you go to? I think I had this question on a test a bit ago, that's why I ask. Sorry if I'm a bit distracted - I'm taking my own exam right now too.

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

im taking English 2 on flvs @leahhhmorgannn

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Also, look for the plots on this - your answer is right there https://quizlet.com/30155732/honors-english-2-segment-1-exam-flash-cards/ That'd be why I recognize it - I'm acing that class this year

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

It couldn't be in media res because those plots don't tell the audience as much as the one this question is talking about. in media res allows the audience to figure it out for themselves, remember that.

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

omg thank you!!! its episodic plots lol thank you @leahhhmorgannn

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I know you probably would've preferred someone gave you a direct answer, but hopefully you learned more about this subject and I gave you materials to help even more in the future to where you'll know this by heart.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Of course! Have fun on the rest of the exam :)

OpenStudy (shesolitt):

awh thank you sm !! youre sooo helpful(:
