I want to make sure my answer to this question sounds right..please help!!! -WILL GIVE MEDAL AND BECOME FAN!- Can you describe multiplying and dividing signed numbers in the real world?? My friends and I want to order pizza. One small pizza costs $5.00, and we need to buy 3. There are four of us. 5x3=15. We have to divide 15 (the answer) by 4 (the number of people buying). 15/4=3.75. So, each of us would have to put in $3.75 to buy the pizzas.

Well it sounds right to me. Was there a specific reason you were concerned about it?

I wanted a second opinion, just in case there was a better way to word anything. :-)

Oh I see. Well I found it easy to follow and the maths looks right.
