Obviously any living organism should be made up of one or more cells. That's a must. 
Even in cel theory it says that the cell is the basic structural and functional unit of life right? So that's a characteristic

I think it's C because all organisms can't produce their own food. For an example humans can't make their own food, we depend upon trees for fruit, vegetable and animals for meat.
