OpenStudy (jchick):

PEMDAS

OpenStudy (jchick):

Simplify

OpenStudy (jchick):

\[x^2 + x + 1/4 x^4 - 5x^3 + 2x^2 - x + 5\]

OpenStudy (jchick):

\[x^4/4 - 5x^3 + 3x^2 + 5\]

OpenStudy (jchick):

This is our simplified version now what is the full question or equation

OpenStudy (jchick):

To find the inverse, interchange the variables and solve for y. f^−1(x)=−20+4x is not a correct inverse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you just divide it out would it be like x^4*4 = 4x^4 and then subtract that from 4 ? @ jchick
