Can someone please help/show me how to do Graph linear equations?? Directions~ Graph the following linear equations by plugging in values for x, solving for y, and keeping track of your x- and y-values in a table. You should determine at least three points on the line before you begin graphing. Plot three points in yellow and draw the line in red. Questions~ 1. y = 2x 2. y = (3/4)x 3. y = -1

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Here is one method. Use the equation to find at least two points. If you have the time, use a third point as a check. Graph the points. Draw a line through the points.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

To find points, let x equal a few numbers. For each value you give x, find y using the equation. Then for each x value and y value, you have a point.

Ok, thank you so much! this really helps
