four slots: A,B,C,D 4 choices for slot A 3 for slot B (since we can't replay a selected song for slot A) 2 for C 1 for D 4*3*2*1 = 24 different permutations possible

you can use factorial notation to write `4*3*2*1` shorthand 4! = 4*3*2*1 or you can use the nPr formula
