What is the difference between Faith and Religion?
This is how I would define Faith and Religion :) Faith is about what you personally believe. It exists (or not) independently of if you ever tell anyone about your beliefs and independently of whether or not anyone else shares your beliefs. Religion is organized faith. A group of people with similar faith that in some manner share the faith is a religion. You can be religious, or at least a participant in a religion, without having any personal faith. For example it's not uncommon for priests who lose their personal faith to continue acting as priests. Because liking the community and the actual activities of a church are distinct from actually believing in the religious dogma. I got this definition from: https://www.quora.com/Whats-the-difference-between-religion-and-faith
Faith adj 14c 1a: allegiance of duty or person : Loyalty b(1) fidelity to one's promises (2) sincerity of intentions 2a (1) : belief and trust in and loyalty to God (2) belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion b(1) firm belief in something for whch there is no proof (2) complete trust 3: something that is believed esp: with strong conviction esp. a system of religious beliefs. duty 1: conduct due to parents or superiors b .... Actually faith 1a; and duty 1 say's it for me, honor thy father and mother though not always stated this way but its true for all humanity. You may of not approved of some of your parent actions but you can't judge them because they belonged to their time and frankly you know nothing about. But in their honor there's much they taught you. As for person in faith 1a; I haae choosen God the Father and Christ that followed Him. You may choose any other difinition you want but in the KJB its usually the first or maybe second difinition. Personally the dictionay definition is God is to general for me, as you see I'm specifice, and when somesone say's I bellieve in God I really don't know what there talking about and I think they really don't know either. Religion has various definitions and only the first acutally deals with a Deity, That's why this country is entering a period of Statism religion.
I believe @KendrickLamar2014 explained it perfectly. :)
