OpenStudy (anonymous):

answer choices are A.12dogs:4days B.4 dogs per day C.1 dog every 4 days or D.4 days every 8 days

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you have to set up the problem and then simplifly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry half asleep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so ill give a ex ample i have 5 green pencils and 15 blue pencils waht is the green to blue ratio

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5 green to 15 blue..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so itll be 5:15 then you simplfy to 1:3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh wow im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe A.12 dogs:4 days

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well thanx but im still confused on how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok you were right 5 to 15 then you simplefy think of them like fraction 5/15 when you simplfy frations you see how many can go into one another so 5 can go into 5. 1 time then 5 can go into 15. 3 times so the anwser is 1/3 or 1to 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all ratios are , are fractions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is so much simpler XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea just think they are frations you can write rations in many way 1:3 1 to 3 or 1/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh wow im stupid i got it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no your not stupid i had trouble when i did ratios they can be hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow thanks its hard especially when ur under pressure with a teacher right next to you XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea if you nedd any more help message me
