OpenStudy (celinegirl):

This is a really stupid question but is "x" on the side of the graph and "y" on the bottom or is it the other way? (been a long time since ive done this)

OpenStudy (jb1625):

i am pretty sure that y is onthe botom

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

If you're talking about the coordinate grid, then x is along the horizontal axis, and y is along the vertical axis |dw:1445466057095:dw|

OpenStudy (jb1625):

But you can just look it up

OpenStudy (love_333):

|dw:1445465994925:dw|

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

it looks like this

OpenStudy (jb1625):

Ya then y would NOT be on the bottom

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

@JB1625 it would be on the side?

OpenStudy (love_333):

On that photo, X is the bottom and Y is on the side.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

that graph you posted is focused on when both x and y are positive so this portion of the graph |dw:1445466156460:dw| that is your viewing window
