Can someone please help me.. I have no idea how to do this...
plot your points...and you will notice that if you start at the y axis....and your slope is -2/3...that means start at (0,490)....go down 2 spaces then to the right 3 spaces, then down 2, then to the right 3...you will cross the x axis at (735,0).
What is your question exactly?
I have to plot intercepts on the graph using that information
@Love_333
did you post the right picture? It doesn't match up
Yeah, I feel the same as @jim_thompson5910 . The picture doesn't match the question..
@jim_thompson5910 im not sure.. maybe i have to create a new graph to match the information.
can you post the full screenshot of the entire problem?
yes ^
Will you try to post a full picture of all the problem?
Hold on! i posted the wrong this...
Graph the function. On the graph, make sure to label the intercepts. You may graph your equation by hand on a piece of paper and scan your work or you may use graphing technology.
here's the function: f(x) = -2/3x + 490
ok if you were to replace x with 0, then the result would be 490, agreed?
@jim_thompson5910 yeah
so the y intercept is (0,490) on the vertical y axis, mark a point at 490
@jim_thompson5910 sorry i know this is much but can you draw it?

490 is somewhere between 400 and 500, closer to 500 |dw:1445467464417:dw|
