carlos and his friends are thinking about taking a cab home. write a formula that will help him decide how much each friend would have to pay. lets say w= price per mile x=number of miles traveled y= number of friends in the cab z=cost of each friend

OpenStudy (anonymous):

z=wx/y That way it is the cost of each friend equals the number of miles traveled times price per mile ( which is the cost)then (so you know how much each friends pays) you divide by how many friends you have.
