To do this exercise, you will need to know
1. the case of the word/group in question (nominative, accusative, etc.)
2. The gender (masculine, feminine, neuter)
3. the number (singular / plural)

1. (case) has to be determined by the context of the sentence.
Is the book in the pack? So "the book" is the subject, so nominative.

2. (gender) Look up a dictionary (e.g. wiktionary, or your own) to see that a book is neuter, so das book.

3. (number) The plural of book is die bücher, so we know the subject is singular.

All the above information together will allow you to make the single right choice.

I suggest you work this way, and post your proposed answers. Otherwise it will give the impression that you are expecting other to do the work for you. Also this way, it helps you to understand the language, and correct misconceptions in your understanding.
