let's round \(164, 800\) to its nearest ten thousand by first looking at the thousands place. the number in the thousands place is \(4\). since the rule of rounding would say that if a number is 4 or below, then keep the number that you are rounding the same but if it's 5 or above, then round up. since it's a \(4\) we would keep the 6 same and the rest of the numbers after the six would turn zero \(160,000\).

the same applies to \(69, 372\). so you would then get \(70,000\).

now find the difference of \(\color{green}{160,000 - 70,000}\) and put that difference in \(\color {red}{meters}\)
