what's the question?
^^
I want to say A or B...divide the exponents
ok but is it ok if you show me how to dividwe the exponents?
or an example?
The nice thing about scientific notation division is that it works very much like regular division as long as the base of the power (10, in this case), is the same. You have to divide the coefficients and then all you have to do is subtract the exponent on the bottom from the exponent on the top. For example, if it were 2x10^8/5x10^5, you would do 2/5 and then you would subtract 5 from 8, getting 3, and end up with (2/5)x10^3. Does that make sense? Look at this. http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/526e1962e4b08fe35a5b15ed
1) REWRITE 6/8 AS A decimal fraction in the form 0.xx 2) Rewrite that in the form y.yy x 10^(-1) 3) reduce 10^24/(10^8). 4) multiply together the results of 2) and 3).
that is confusing
