How did the creation of the constitution make a difference?

Please give me some specific reasons, I;m trying to think up some things to write my history essay on?

Maybe you could try reading the constitution, or parts of it. I guess try and think about how those principles made the United States better. History isn't my thing, really. But I can try and help you still! What do you think?

Well the constitution is the backbone of our government.  It provides us structure or foundation for us to make legal decisions, so that we aren't acting on a whim whenever a new case pops up.
You could talk about how Article 1, 2 and 3 of the Constitution address the role of the 3 branches of government so that not one has more power than the other and they still all serve an "independent" important purpose
You could also talk about certain amendments you feel really protect the rights of the commonfolk (ie. 8th amendment says no to cruel and unusual punishment, which "ensures" that the "time matches the crime")
