There are 24 squares in the picture each has a side of 1 cm. How many squares has an area of 4 cm^2?
the area of square needs to be 4cmn^2 so each side should be 2cm .....we can chose a side of 2cm length ad 2cm breadth in these ways ->|dw:1445589297243:dw| no of ways to chose length--->3 no of ways to chose breadth-->3 total squares=3x3=9
