this is about using commas with linking words like "because". Does this sentence have comma errors?

I believe there is a comma error. The way that helps me figure out where to put commas is say the sentence out loud. Martha was happy *pause* because? That doesn't make any sense. It'd probably be. "Martha was happy because she made a friend on her first day etc"
