The best way to improve writing is to practice. When you have writer's block, keep writing, even if it's about your writer's block. Next tip I would give you is to expand your vocabulary. Try to have as wide a vocabulary as possible. i needed help 2.

so i started with the simple things first grab a notebook u NEVER used before
right your full name do that 50 times a day for 13 weeks .

when u r done look at it. see if it helped then right your date of birth 
NO NUMBERS.50 times a day for 5 weeks hope it helps

remember push yourself  i know it is hard but it helped me i have great righting

There are many websites that you can practice your writing skills. A couple of them I use. One of them is called Wattpad the other is 20lines. I am not saying that you need to, but they have helped me.

My English professor this semester assigns these things called "squibs." She gives a very general topic and we have to write one full single spaced page of pretty much anything that comes to mind without revising. These have helped me to explore my creativity and have diminished the counter-productive perfectionist within me. Might be a good start.
