That's okay. I'll show you two ways to do this :) One without a graphing calc and one with a graphing calc (I have a TI-84 Plus) SO. Like Guru started, first do 3.4 * 1.3.

Right, it equals 4.42. So set that aside. Now you have 10^2 and 10^3 to multiply together. Do you know the properties of multiplying exponents?
