guys , I NEED your opinion on touch typing vs normal typing , like which is convenient ! and what you guys use ?
My teacher in ComTech mentioned about touch typing, he said it increases your speed. I tried getting used to placing my fingers on the ASDF and JKL to increase my speed but it is really difficult for me. He said once we learned it, we'll less likely to glance at the keyboard characters. I'm using the normal typing. wait, am I mentioning the right thing ? xD
I find TOUCH TYPING extremely difficult. Any suggestions plz.
i can be of an assist
you want to type comfortable? and fast right?
Touch-typing is typing without looking, right?
the why i type i don't need to look at the keyboard
if it is then yes I am
lol
tips: train yourself to type quickly while still looking at the keyboard, then ask someone to hold a piece of paper over your hands as you type, they can remove the paper when you absolutely have to check, but eventually do it so you can type without looking I can touch-type somewhat on my smartphone too.
thats one way!
the way i learned mines is by looking at the order of the letters alphabetical order
then once you manage to get the alphabetical order you know which positions they be in
I hate touchscreens lol
Help!! Can somebody help with " a number q tripled
i don't remember the name of the website hm but there are some typing games where you can practice ;P that's how i started
now i don't have to look at the keyboard i believe chatting also helpz to type fast :P
yikes... i touch type everyday and i can erase my mistakes when im not looking at the keyboard
i know how many letters in the words i put in if i touch the word in the wrong position i just erase xD
it is a bad logic @KnightOfPentacles , typing is not a toy. wrote, mistake, erased? when you write by hand you cannot erase,
you can learn though differently like what one of them said about getting a paper put over the keyboard and start memorizing from their
normal is better
true but i learn this by playing RPG games and quickly as i could
oh no
i learned by looking the keyboard alphabetical order
you're right though :3
i just learned mines by experience xD
i first sat at the computer in 1995, when i was 1 year old, yeah no lie, no jokes. it is true. it was an old MAC. touch typing wasn't popular at these times, that why i look at touch typing as on garbage. lol everyone has it's point of views. you are right too
touch typing - my default unless I need to type numbers or symbols. when doing so I glance down to make sure I'm not off by one.
with a few typing lessons and some practice, touch typing is far, far faster than whatever normal typing is - to me normal typing is staring at a monitor making sure what you've typed is correct while typing something. Although, sometimes when I'm copying stuff say from a printed text, I look at the text instead.
i misundertsnaded what means touch typing. i thought that touch typing is typing like on iphone or something like it.
reminded me of conq.
