OpenStudy (texaschic101):

first we find the slope by using the slope formula and 2 sets of points.. slope(m) = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) (-2,5)...x1 = -2 and y1 = 5 (2,-3)...x2 = 2 and y2 = -3 now we sub slope(m) = (-3-5) / (2 - (-2) slope (m) = -8/(2 + 2) slope (m) = -8/4 slope(m) = -2 y - y1 = m(x - x1) slope(m) = -2 using (-2,5)...x1 = -2 and y1 = 5 now we sub y - 5 = -2(x -(-2) y - 5 = -2(x + 2) y - y1 = m(x - x1) slope(m) = -2 using (2,-3)...x1 = 2 and y1 = -3 now we sub y - (-3) = -2(x - 2) y + 3 = 2(x - 2) yep...its A and C
