HELP PLEASE!!!! MEDAL What is the location of the vertex on the parabola defined by f(x) = −2x2 + 10x + 7 and in what direction does the parabola open? Hint: Use a graphing utility or rewrite the function in different forms to help you answer these questions.

this equation is of the form y = ax^2 + bx +c first of all - write the values of a, b and c for your equation... THEN the x position of the vertex is -b/2a so you can work that out from the a,b, c values you wrote above you need to look up the properties of parabolas - the value in front of the x^2 term tells you which way it opens (it depends on whether it is positive or negative - look it up)
