this is an equation that is reducible to a quadratic so let \[u = x^2 - 2x\] then the equation becomes \[u^2 - 14u - 15\] which factors to \[(u - 15)(u + 1)\] now do the reverse substitution for u and you get \[(x^2 - 2x - 15)(x^2 - 2x + 1)\] and you should be able to factor these...
