what is the datatype of this expression (3 + 4 / (int)3.14) * 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

datatype means the result? the result will be 10. (3+4/3)*5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it'll be 20. 4/3 becomes 1 3+1=4 4*5=20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The result is 21.36 . So, the datatype is float , But as you changed 3.14 into integer then the result should be in integer . So , the expression is integer .
