could someone help me to find a midpoint using a midpoint formula with the coordinates of (5,5) and (2,1) I found that if I use the distance formula The answer is 5 please help.

Midpoint: (5+2)/2, (5+1)/2: so midpoint would be (7/2, 3).

Remember that the left of the coordinate is x and the right is y.

So 7/2 is 3.5, so go right to the area halfway between 3 and 4, and then up 3.
