For number 2, set it up by writing 7^2 + 24^2 = 25^2. This also gives you an indication that 25 is your hypotenuse (hint, hint). If you add these up, you should get 25^2 =25^2, which means that these values form a Pythagorean triple, which also means that they form a right triangle. If both sides of the equation did not equal the same thing, then it would be a different type of triangle.
