Let's say that the standardized test had 100 possible points. If we wanted to identify the top 25%, why not just select those with raw scores above 75? Why do we have to standardize the scores?

Im not sure if this answer will help you or not but here it is 75% is a c under 80% is a b which is not bad nor is it amazing a 90 is a a but a 95 and above is gifted near a 100 a person who receives all 100 points is on a high learning level than someone who passes with a 75 or a 80 hope I helped
