I need help writing in terms of sine and cosine I know i need to start out with simplifying, but isnt 1. already simplified? If I factor these 1. at the start isnt that the opposite of simplifying, need help and steps, thanks problem 1. (1-cosx)(1+secx) problem 2. cosx+sinx/sinx

I factored problem 1, then converted to cos by making sec 1/cosx and now I find common denoms? and how input pythag theorem for 1 in 1-cosx? (sin^2x +cos^2x) - cosx
I find myself spending an hour on each problem and still not getting the answer
