we can manipulate the improper fractions to make it easier to see. 17/5 * 2/2 and 18/5 * 2/2 are 34/10 and 36/10 and by looking at them clearly 35/10 is inbetween them so that would be your answer

no problem i also forgot to mention that you can reduce the 35/10 to 7/2
