OpenStudy (steve816):

y=2 sin x+3 Why is this function shifted up 3 instead of left 3? I am really confused.

OpenStudy (baru):

because y=(2sinx)+3 which gives y+3=2sinx

OpenStudy (baru):

if it was shifted 3 left, then y=2sin(x+3)

OpenStudy (baru):

get it?

imqwerty (imqwerty):

@steve816

OpenStudy (steve816):

Ohhh I get it now.

OpenStudy (baru):

woops :p i meant y-3=2sinx
