The impact of land policies by Georgia included the head-right system, land lotteries, and the Yazoo land fraud. Georgians were so land hungry. The headright system gave land to the settlers from the Indians and each white man counted as one "head" of the house hold and could get up to 1,000 acres of land. This was soon traded for the Land Lotteries, which any man 21 years of age and older could buy a chance to spin a wheel for land and any family with children, widows, or people who had served the country could get more chances than others. There was also the Yazoo land fraud which was when people bribed others to pass a bill that let land companies buy western land. my teacher gave me a 90 for this part
