Information About the Town
• Coal processing plant- takes extracted coal from the mountain and treats it
with chemicals to remove rocks and other impurities. A large amount of
water is used in this process. Employs 200 people
• The Seam- poorer section of town without hot water/indoor plumbing. Water
is used for cooking and bathing. Bathing is not always a daily event.

• The merchants- baker and butcher in town, families live above shops. Indoor
